SOFT(WEAR) is a project that explores the future of garment tagging through the process of Design Thinking. The project delves into the history of clothing tags to get a better understanding of their significance in the fashion industry. By leveraging speculative design, I created a possible future that weaves RFID technology into the garment fabric, allowing for greater interconnectivity between physical objects and the digital world. More importantly, the overarching theme is shaping the future of a circular economy. By exploring the potential of this technology, product authentication can be more reliable for fashion brands, thus promoting circular fashion.
